I have a 2005 GMC Sierra for which I have scanned using a tool from another manufacturer. I just bought the AL619 thinking it would give me the same parameters but with graphing capabilities. The data missing from the live data stream are listed below. The most important ones are the misfire counts and the transmission oil temperature. Is it possible to get the data listed below added to the live data stream? It should be available via mode 6 or mode 7 which the tool is supposed to support. I have updated the AL619 to the latest firmware. Battery Voltage | 12.4| V Throttle Sensor | 0.00| Volts Front O2 Sensor | 0.296| V Rear O2 Sensor | 0.387| V EGR Position | 0.00| V Fuel Tank Pressure | 1.39| Volts Throttle Position | 18| % EGR Valve Open | 0| % Trans. Ok, I have checked with our engineers. Here is the answer for your questions: .......We do support the advanced Mode 6. I am sorry we adopt a different interface from our competitors...... Pls visit the "On-board Mon. Test" to get the advanced Mode 6 data........As for the most valued PIDs you need, such as Misfire counts and trans oil temp, sorry, we only provide the first PID in "On-board Mon. Test", but no the last one.......Regarding of the other PIDs you listed above, Most of them could be found in our "On-board Mon. Test", check them.........Besides, we have looked into the SAE documents which is the basis for OBD II diagosis , and the trans oil temp is not a standard PID in this document. I am not sure if the scan tool you are using integrates other softwares.

Well, after reading your response, I went out to my truck and looked at both the Live Data and the On-board Mon. Test data. I am sorry to say that information like misfire counts does not show up. So much for a state of the art scan tool. I am now having second thoughts about purchasing the AL619.

One other thing. My 2005 GMC Sierra does have CAN bus. However, the AL619 does not seem to recognize it.

sorry to disppoint your expectation. our tool works pretty good for US cars. I am not sure why AL619 can't recognize your GMC. Pls check the DLC again.
